The Israeli arms company Emtan-Karmiel will be in charge of supplying the Spanish Civil Guard with a new 5.56 x 45 mm caliber assault rifle. This company supplies the MZ-4P model, through Guardian Homeland Security, its representative in Spain. The MZ-4P rifle features an 11.5″ or 14.5″ barrel that offers a balanced combination of accuracy and operation in close combat scenarios and is intended for use by special forces and SWAT units.
