The Eitan APC – Armored Personnel Carrier is a top-of-the-line 8-wheel APC that can carry 12 people. Developed by the Israeli Ministry of Defense, it has 750 HP, speed of 90 km/h and high maneuverability. The craft features “Iron Fist” active protection system (from Elbit System) that provides 360-degree protection in close-range scenarios, both in open and urban environments, and uses independent optical sensors, tracking radar, launchers and countermeasure munitions to eliminate threats at a safe distance from defended combat vehicles.
