Mepro Mor reflex sight from Israel’s Meprolight wins NRA’s American Rifleman Golden Bullseye “Optics of the Year” award

Meprolight, a leading manufacturer of electro-optical systems, night and thermal vision equipment, self-illuminated sights and laser telemetry systems for military, law enforcement and civilian applications, has announced that Mepro Mor, civilian version, has been awarded as the 2015 Optic of the Year with the title of “Optic of the year 2014 – American Rifleman Golden Bullseye”. The Mepro Mor is an integrated laser sight with integrated laser pointers that operates through an active system, with a passive system that can operate without batteries and is being used by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and other militaries around the world. This is the 13th year that this award has been conferred by the National Rifle Association (NRA) for products in the field of Sport Shooting. The Golden Bullseye is the most important shooting sports award in the USA. Meprolight_Guardian_Spain The Mepro Mor riflescope was selected for its capabilities, meeting and even exceeding the expectations of the evaluators, as well as for its innovative design and functions. As a fully featured electro-optical sight, it combines the benefits of a self-illuminating, battery-free reflex sight, an LED-based aiming point for reduced light conditions and an integrated red laser pointer. In addition, the Military and Police models include both red laser and Infra-Red laser pointers. The passive system of the Mepro Mor is powered by ambient light through a fiber optic system, and in complete darkness, uses tritium illumination; the active system, with the battery, provides the ability to activate the laser pointers, as well as regulate the brightness intensity of the aiming point in any scenario. The large 30 mm diameter lens provides a better FOV for fast target acquisition. Easy to operate, the red dot and laser are simultaneously zeroed.
