Laboratory tests P1B blade and S1G blade

In this blog post we want to focus on the differences between the two types of knives existing in laboratory tests P1B knife and S1G knife. Regarding the 2 models of Guardtex and Guardtex24 vests , the Guardtex protects up to 24 joules of S1G knife and the Guardtex24 protects up to 24 joules of P1B knife. – P1B knife – width 15mm, thickness 2mm – very narrow and very thin knife that pierces between the threads of the fabric easily and therefore very aggressive and very difficult to stop with ballistic package. – S1G knife – width 20mm, thickness 4mm – very wide and very thick knife which is more difficult to pierce between the threads of the fabric and therefore very easy to stop with ballistic package.
