Israel involved in unlocking Diana Quer’s iPhone 6s
The Guardia Civil has contacted Cellebrite, the company that managed to access the cell phone of the jihadist who perpetrated the massacre in San Bernardino (United States). On August 22, 2016, Diana Quer was returning at dawn to her home in A Pobra (A Coruña), but never arrived home. She disappeared during the journey without leaving any clues as to her whereabouts. It is suspected that she may have interacted with third parties, whose identity is unknown. Investigators knew from the start that the young woman’s phone was a key piece in the search for answers. The device was found months later at sea, folded in half and with signs that someone had tried to destroy it. However, despite the terrible conditions in which the device was kept for weeks, the technicians of the Criminalistic Service of the Civil Guard(SECRIM) have managed to rebuild its structure and make it functional again, installing its motherboard in another new iPhone.
