Invisible” soldiers: Israel develops camouflage technology

Polaris Solutions, an Israeli technology company that specializes in “innovative and effective technology for survival solutions,” claimed to have developed a camouflage that makes soldiers on the battlefield virtually undetectable. The company claimed that the new “camouflage sheet” has already been approved by the Israel Defense Forces.

The recently unveiled 300 Kit was developed in cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and appears to be made of a material that provides multispectral concealment. According to Polaris Solutions, there is currently no similar technology on the market. “As far as we know, or from what we saw in other militaries around the world, we are the only ones working with this technology,” said Asaf Picciotto, co-founder and CEO of Polaris Solutions. “To establish that, we filed a patent in many countries around the world,” he added.

Polaris Solutions was founded in 2010 and is now headquartered in the Israeli port city of Caesarea. Several former IDF soldiers with special forces training have lent their expertise to the company, which also produces a range of tough and durable tactical textiles and patented military products.
