In recent months, the IDF has begun training all of its battalion fighters at the “boot camp” to improve the fighters’ individual and squad skills, their combat capabilities in complex situations related to the war on terror and more. The training camp, located at the IMI Security and Lottery College of Elbit Systems, includes areas and facilities that until recently were reserved for special units in Israel and around the world. The first to experience the facility last June were Nahal Gadsar fighters, when most of the fighters who trained last year were from the regular army. Recently, reserve battalions, including reserve paratroopers from the Northern Brigade, have also begun training there.
